Gauntlet De-authorisation Fast-track

What is Gauntlet De-authorisation Fast-track?

Gauntlet De-authorisation Fast-track, or GDF as we call it, is Gauntlet’s response to the trends in the insurance market and a solution for those local insurance brokers, of a certain size, who feel trapped by their current circumstances and their directly authorised status.  It is for those frustrated by pointless overheads and a lack of buying power.

Gauntlet De-authorisation Fast-track is a tried and tested route through which currently directly authorised local insurance brokers can change their way of working and remove the burden of compliance from their shoulders. This is done by taking the decision to give up direct authorisation and benefit from the advantages of being a Gauntlet local broker and appointed representative (AR).

If you are ready to do that, getting back to what you do best – advising clients and protecting their risks in the optimal way as well as boosting your profitability and earnings, through significantly better access to market – email Hello@GauntletEnterprise.com

How Gauntlet De-authorisation Fast-track works

Established and directly authorised insurance brokers take a decision to de-authorise and cease to be directly authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This does NOT mean that compliance duties cease to exist. Instead, the deauthorising broker allows Gauntlet to take the strain of compliance and changes their status from directly authorised broker to Appointed Representative (AR).
All is completely above board, under FCA rules, is totally compliant and constitutes business as normal – with just the key change being that all the time that was spent on compliance can now be spent on bringing in insurance sales.

The process typically takes around 8 weeks, enabling a directly authorised broker to have planning time, as they gear up to better compete in the marketplace, as an AR, with Gauntlet’s buying power, mentoring,  IT, back-office support and passionate commitment to local brokers.

Are you ready to start your 8-week journey towards lower costs, enhanced market access, superb sales support and leads, fewer compliance duties and reduced stress?

How Gauntlet De-authorisation Fast-track makes life easier for insurance brokers

When it comes to de-authorising as an insurance broker and making the switch from being a directly authorised insurance broker to becoming an appointed representative (AR), it’s not all about compliance.

By becoming one of Gauntlet’s passionate local brokers, taking the AR route to do so, an independent insurance broker can also remove some or all of the cost centres that can cause business distress.

Gauntlet’s Acturis IT systems provide 24/7 access to client files and superb functionality to help drive sales.  This works in sync with a Gauntlet back office that handles all administration and client monies, plus the services provided by a first-class broking team.  It is also backed by an online quote-and-buy facility that can generate additional income and help a local broker take advantage of e-trade and the ways in which many customers wish to buy their insurance.

All is underpinned by our superb insurer relationships and buying power, enabling you to pass on premium savings and better policies to your clients.  That could be the difference between client retention and client losses.

By taking advantage of all we offer, an independent insurance broker can do what they enjoy most – liaising with clients and finding business leads.  They can be the epitome of a powerful local broker.

You do not need office space, administrators, a hefty IT investment budget and associated training costs, or a new website. Our solution packages all of this and everything that you need to boost your brokerage, at what could be a crucial time for your career.
